To borrow materials, a valid Terrace Bay Public Library card is required. Library cards are FREE* to the following groups:
- Permanent residents of Terrace Bay, Schreiber, Rossport, Pays Platt First Nation, and Jackfish
- Employees of Terrace Bay businesses
- Students attending area educational institution
- Those who own property in Terrace Bay
Those who do not qualify for a free membership may purchase a membership. Temporary residents can purchase a 3-month membership for $20. Non-residents can purchase a one-year membership for $80 per year. All outstanding fines and fees must be paid at time of membership renewal.
Children, 12 years of age and under, require the signature of a parent or guardian to get a library card.
*Replacement of lost/stolen library cards cost $5

Late Fees Structure
Late fees on DVDs are $1.00 per day per item.
Late fees for best sellers is $2.00 per day per item to a maximum amount of $10.00 per item.
Late fees on all remaining materials is $0.25 per day per item to a maximum amount of $10.00.
A user’s account will be blocked when late fees reach $20.00.
