Ontario Public Library Week - A Visit will get you Thinking

Ontario Public Library Week is October 20-26 and in celebration, we are hosting a few activities listed below.

Tuesday, October 22 at 10:30am in the Fireside Room at the Library.

“Troop Treks of 1885”  A  presentation by local historian Bill Skrepichuk. The movement of troops along the North Shore of Lake Superior to the NW Rebellion.

Wednesday, October 23 at 10:30am and 1:30pm

Children’s Halloween puppet show, the Monster Mash and local author Victoria Krause will read from her children’s books.

Thursday, October 24 

Giant annual used book sale starts.

Friday, October 25 is our Open House from 3pm to 5pm

Join us in the Fireside Room to celebrate 70 years of library service to the community.

Used Book Sale continues

*A reminder that the Library is now open on Saturdays from 12:30pm to 4:30pm for the winter!

Candy Guess Contest for kids – all week long! Come on in and give us your best guess!

Pumpkin guess contest for everyone – Guess the weight of the pumpkin!

Book basket draw – Lots of goodies! Free to enter!

Contest winners to be announced at the open house – Book mark design contest, candy guess, pumpkin weight guess and book basket draw!
