How to Build Community Poster

At the regular library board meeting on November 8th, Terrace Bay residents Karen Morley and Marie Clara Papineau presented the library with a framed poster entitled “How to Build Community”. The lovely donation has been hung in the fireside reading room for everyone to enjoy.

Legion Presents donation to Library

At the regular Terrace Bay Public Library Board meeting on Tuesday Sept 13, 2011,

members of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 223 attended to present a cheque from their Nevada Fund to the Library Board in the amount of $1,000.00 Board

Chair Irene Moore accepted the cheque on behalf of the library and expressed her thanks to the Branch for their generosity and for their recognition of the importance of the library to the community. Legion Branch president Joe Pelto stated that they will be closing their building in Terrace Bay but Branch 223 will remain active.
